We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Applications Specialist to join our Hospital Medical Devices Division on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about cutting-edge medical technologies and providing exceptional clinical support to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
You will represent highly reputable multinational companies and play a key role in the promotion, sales, and clinical/application support of a comprehensive portfolio of advanced medical and surgical technologies across both public and private healthcare sectors. In this dynamic role, you will support customers throughout the entire sales cycle – from initial engagement and product demonstration to in-theatre application and post-sale follow-up.
The product portfolio includes, but is not limited to:
- Ophthalmic Products
- Wound Closure Devices
- Open and Endo-Mechanical Surgical Instruments
- Advanced Sterile Products
- Advanced Wound Care Therapeutics
- Regenerative Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell high-end medical equipment and devices to healthcare professionals in both state and private hospitals and clinics in Malta and Gozo.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the health authorities, medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and technicians, as well as with all other customers both within the private and public sectors.
- Provide detailed information and demonstrations of a portfolio of medical and surgical equipment and devices.
- Deliver application and operation training to end users on installed medical equipment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in medical technology.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of our medical devices division.
- Assist in the preparation of action programs together with all related forecasts, as deemed necessary.
- Generate reports and summarize information to highlight on-going performance and propose any relevant measures aimed at enhancing such performance to Management.
- Travel abroad from time to time, both to participate in training programs, as well as to undertake any work in line with the above-mentioned duties.
- Represent the Company at local and international trade shows and exhibitions.
- Any other duties as may be assigned and agreed between the parties from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in a Life Science.
- Proven experience in medical equipment and device sales or a related field, preferably with experience in local hospitals and clinics.
- In possession of a valid driver’s licence.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a positive can-do approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and keen to stay abreast of emerging medical devices and technologies.
